Quoin / Corner Stone
Corner or Quoins Stones give a solid appearance to any building. They can be made in any dimension to suit , typically they are solid L shaped pieces ,approx 100m thick with 440x 225 x 215. Also they can be made from 2 parts of stone 40mm thick that are fixed after the block work is already in place. Quoins can be used alongside rendered finish , brick or natural stone facing. Various finishes can be made the Quoin stone and some examples are shown below:
